I doubt you will be surprised to read that I’ve been doing a lot of festive crafting this month. I enjoy Christmas crafting but decided not to make any homemade gifts this year. Work has been busy and I didn’t want to give myself any more stress at this time of year. November was quite a busy month as my teens had a two week half term break, which is why my crafting seems a little less than usual (to me anyway!).
What I made November 2025
I thought I would be concentrating on my Pretty Fabrics and Trims Christmas Countdown panel this month. I love it but it just hasn’t grabbed my attention as I thought it would. There are so many little letters to stitch …..
I had a few days off sick so sat on the sofa binge watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and stitched this old Cotton Clara Christmas embroidery hoop. I’ve had it a few years and it was so simple to stitch.
I finished the Love Embroidery magazine Christmas banner.
And also stitched the Love Embroidery magazine Christmas stocking kit. I love a free cover gift and they are so easy to stitch.
My daughter and I have been making Maileg Christmas costumes from cardboard tubes. Our Maileg mouses are out all year round but she has some reindeers which only come out at Christmas. They are fun to craft with and we are looking forward to The Marvellous Miniature Workshop which starts next week.
I whipped up a walnut shell wreath which I’ve wanted to make for ages. It’s hard to hide the glue, the first time I didn’t use enough and it broke apart easily. I found a huge bow but it covers up most of the wreath ….
Phew. I actually made quite a lot and had fun crafting, stitching and hot glueing. Wonder how much I will make in the last month of the year! Let me know what you’ve been making this month.
Why not take a look at our previous posts:

I love all of these and perfect for December, I love the walnut shell wreath such a great idea. I want to take up cross stitch again as used to do it years ago
You’ve been so productive! The Cotton Clara hoop is gorgeous and I love that you finished it while binge-watching—sometimes sick days have a silver lining. The Maileg costumes sound adorable too. Hope December brings more fun crafting.
your November projects feel really charming and relaxed. I like how you mix simple stitching with fun little crafts.

You’re so talented. The little mice are so adorable
