    We love baking gingerbread and half term has given the opportunity to slow down a little and do some of the things we enjoy. Such as baking. Gingerbread is the perfect autumnal treat and never fails to fill the house with its delicious, warming smells.     We love using our National Trust membership to visit a new place and as we’ve been enjoying exploring Wales we decided to spend some time at Newton House at Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire. Newton House is a lovely country house surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and 18th century landscape Deer Park.     With a child in Secondary school we are discovering new learning opportunities all the time! A few months ago my son started studying Shakespeare, which inspired a trip to visit some of the houses connected with William Shakespeare. We had already been to The Globe to watch a retelling of Twelfth Night at The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse in London which was an amazing experience.     This morning we were uniform shopping in Watford and walked past Glow In One. We treated ourselves to a round of golf in the underground glow in the dark mini golf course.
