At the start of lockdown in March we sat down as a family and made a list of the films we wanted to watch. It included old favourites and new releases we hadn’t got round to watching. We’ve always enjoyed watching films and with trips to the cinema out of the question, then a family film night can be just as fun. A few weeks ago we settled down to watch Back to the Future as chosen by my husband. The children loved it and watched the trailers for the other two films in the series too. We were really…

The kids have always been huge fans of Playmobil. Thanks to Playmobil we’ve reviewed some wonderful toys as Playmobil Playologists and had some fun experiences too, like helping Playmobil celebrate their 40th birthday at The Waldorf Hotel, London or helping Playmobil celebrate their partnership with London Fire Brigade at the Playmobil VIP launch party. So we were absolutely delighted to be invited to the premiere of the brand new Playmobil film – Playmobil: The Movie in London today. Playmobil: The Movie Playmobil: The Movie is sure to be the animated highlight of summer 2019. This is the first motion picture…

These are some of their favourite toys so they were delighted to receive the Playmobil City Life Children’s Playground, which is available from Smyths, to review. Playmobil City Life Children’s Playground The children have always enjoyed small world play and Playmobil is just brilliant for inspiring children. I know that Mother’s Day is only just over but already I’ve started to think about Easter. It seems to be earlier than ever this year, but that also might be due to the fact we have both mine and my son’s birthdays to celebrate first! Anyway, back to Easter. It’s only 3 weeks away so it’s definitely time to start thinking about Easter gifts! My children love Easter. They have 2 weeks holiday from school and we have lots of exciting plans to see friends and family. Give Playmobil Easter Eggs this Easter We are hosting Easter this year…

I’m so excited to be sharing with you the brand new Dragon playsets from Playmobil, based on the How To Train Your Dragon franchise! This is Playmobil’s second entertainment brand license, this time with DreamWorks Animation, and following the success of Ghostbusters (see our review here) we were really excited to get our hands on the sets. In case you are not familiar with How To Train Your Dragon there are a number of films based on the books by Cressida Cowell, centred around Hiccup (a Norse teenager from the island of Berk) as he overcomes great obstacles on his journey…

I’m so happy to share with you today our review of one of the toys from the new Playmobil Ghostbusters range! Yes, we’re still Playmobil Playologists too which means we’re working with Playmobil, a top manufacturer within preschool toys, to share their latest products with you. I mentioned last year that this is Playmobil’s first entertainment brand license and they have been working together with Sony to bring these fantastic sets to life. It’s a brand collaboration we couldn’t be happier about as we love the Ghostbusters franchise. I really enjoyed the films when I was growing up. In fact the…

Playmobil is a top manufacturer within preschool toys and we’ve really enjoyed working with them. Our final toy was the Roman Warriors’ Ship from the Playmobil History range. I studied Ancient History at University so I was very excited when I heard about this new range. The Playmobil History range covers the Romans and Egyptians, and includes Pharoah’s Pyramid, an Egyptian chariot, an Egyptian House, a Gladiator Arena Starter Set as well as lots of figures. I’m glad these…

It’s definitely the time of year to be planning Advent treats for my children. Playmobil is a top manufacturer within preschool toys. We’ve been Playmobil Playologists for a while now and were lucky to receive the Playmobil Advent Calendar to review. In 2013 we reviewed the Playmobil Pirates Treasure Cove advent calendar, in 2014 we reviewed the Playmobil Santa’s Workshop Advent Calendar and last year we reviewed the Playmobil Advent Calendar Fire Rescue Operation with Card Game so I was interested to see how the pirate theme had been updated. Playmobil Advent Calendar {Pirate Treasure Island} I have to admit that I haven’t opened the Pirate Treasure…
