    Exploring the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London {with a 7 and 9 year old}

    A few weeks ago we finally got to visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, aka the Harry Potter Studio Tour. I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to visit and I didn’t realise you had to book so far in advance. I’ve read all the books, watched the films, and tried to introduce my children to the magical world of Harry Potter too. They’ve watched most of the films so we thought we would book a family ticket and visit the studio tour together. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London We only live 20 minutes away from the Studio…

    The Original Sweetshop Afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield Mayfair

    A few weeks ago my husband treated us to a family Afternoon Tea to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Whilst Afternoon Tea in London might not be most people’s way of celebrating, we thought it was the perfect treat for our little family. I had spent the morning at a botanical papercutting workshop, so after it had finished I headed over to Mayfair in London’s West End to meet up with the rest of the family. Afternoon tea in London It’s been a while since we’ve treated ourselves to Afternoon Tea in London. Over the last few years ago we’ve…

    Yayoi Kusama pumpkins and paintings in London

    A few weeks ago I heard that a Yayoi Kusama installation was coming to London and I immediately booked tickets. I am so glad I did because they quickly sold out. I booked for a day during half term and this was our only planned day out in London. Yayoi Kusama: THE MOVING MOMENT WHEN I WENT TO THE UNIVERSE The Yayoi Kusama installation is a free event at the Victoria Miro gallery near Old Street. Arriving at our allotted time, we showed our tickets and were allowed inside the gallery. Handed another ticket, we were then ushered upstairs to queue…

    Subway, lead sponsor of the NFL London Games and the NFL Flag School Programme, are encouraging kids to try sport

    A few weeks ago, we attended a really fun free event at Piccadilly in the West End. Much of the street was closed for the NFL Kickoff which took over Piccadilly for the launch of the season. NFL is the biggest sport in the United States with more than 160 million people watching the Super Bowl each year. Did you know that the NFL is now among the fastest-growing sports in the UK and Ireland? More than 23 million people tuned in throughout 2016/17 to watch the games and 40,000 people now play the sport in England alone. NFL Kickoff at Piccadilly NFL…

    Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

    Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. I was pretty happy to see the weekend after going back to work. Each week I start off by writing my Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things blog post. It’s a great chance to reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures – it’s a post I always enjoy writing. Pick Your Own at Copas Farms Iver Heath

    It’s been a long time since we went and picked our own fruit and veg. In fact it is over5 years ago when we used to live in North London. Then we ventured north to Parkside Farm Pick Your Own Farm in Enfield. I think we had one child, there may have been two. What I did know was that another visit was well overdue. Now we live in West London it made sense to find something a little nearer us. So I looked online and found Copas Farms Pick Your Own. They have two sites, one at Iver Heath…
