A few weeks ago we were challenged to make something for the house with Aquabeads. My children are *obsessed* with Aquabeads and we have a lot of their creations around the house. Sometimes it’s nice to actually use their creations around the house.

With Easter coming up my daughter has been making a lot of Aquabeads Easter eggs. She didn’t follow a pattern, just made patterns with the beads. I’ve told you before how much fun we have with Aquabeads. They are so simple to use, simply make patterns with the beads and the fix with a spray of water. Here are some of the Easter eggs she made with Aquabeads.

We thought it would be fun to turn them into something else. I wanted to hang them from our Easter tree but my daughter had the great idea of making them into bookmarks. Both my children love to read so it seemed like a great idea to make them seasonal bookmarks.

We used Bostik Glu Dots and added a dot to one end of a craft stick. Then we placed the Easter Egg onto the craft stick, pressing it down for a few seconds.

We made lots of bookmarks as they will make fun gifts to give at Easter. I also like the fact that the children get to use their creations. They recently received the Aquabeads Deluxe Studio with over 1300 beads. Whilst I was cooking dinner they managed to make all of the templates which were included in the kit! I told you they were obsessed 🙂

This is a really cute and creative idea. What a lovely gift to give to friends at this time of year. My kids are aquabeads fans too

Ooh these sound so much easier than meltybeads! And less mess 😅
