Aquabeads Dazzling Ring Set

I’ve always found making things to be the best hobby. Luckily my children think so too! As my 4 year old olny has afternoon sessions we usually spend the morning crafting. This week we have been trying out a new set from Aquabeads – the Dazzling Ring Set. This is a Refill set which means you need to already have a Layout tray and water Sprayer.

The Dazzling Ring Set contains over 400 jewel and solid beads, 6 x ring bodies and 3 x template sheets.

My 4 year old chose the template sheet she wanted to make, I slipped it under the Layout tray and she started placing the beads in the right place.

This is the first 3D set we’ve tried. Some of the designs require the beads to be built up in layers.

So we made each layer before spraying them with water and leaving them to dry.

When they were dry we followed the instructions to build up the layers, spraying each one before putting the next layer on top. Then left them to dry again.

Then it was time to place the finished design on the ring body. We’ve made a few of the other designs too, such as the crown and bow. I like the fact the finished designs are interchangeable and my 4 year old thought it was fun to make her own jewellery.
