Aquabeads Sweets set

Posted on October 20, 2015April 7, 2017 by jenny

We’ve been sent a few lovely toys to review lately and the last one I wanted to tell you about today was the Aquabeads Sweets set. Aquabeads are small round coloured balls which stick together with a spray of water. My 3 year old loves them, which surprises me as they are quite small, so she was really pleased to receive the Aquabeads Sweets set to review.

Aquabeads Sweets set

These small Aquabeads sets only contain the templates and beads, you will need to own an Aquabeads layout tray and sprayer. The set contains 600 beads in 10 different colours, both jewel and solid beads. There are also four template sheets packed with pretty designs to make ice creams, doughnuts, sweets and other sweet treats.

Aquabeads are recommended for ages 4 and over but my daughter is 3 and enjoys making the designs. These are great for helping her choose the right colours, following visual instructions and improving her fine motor skills.

The Aquabeads Sweets set has a RRP of £4.99 and is available from Amazon and toy shops.

Interesting! I had those little ones that you had to iron to make them melt together when I was a kid…

We have those too! There are lots of different ones available but my 3 year old really loves her Aquabeads.

What a fantastic toy. I love things that encourage kids to be creative and as you say it will also be helping her motor skills!
