Schleich Lion Cave Set

Schleich’s Wild Life range

Posted on April 12, 2016January 7, 2017 by jenny

There are some toys that my children return to again and again and these are their Schleich toys. Schleich make great quality figurines and accessories which are perfect for imaginative play. Each item is very detailed and hand painted.

We received some of the new animals and accessory sets from Schleich’s Wild Life range, which are suitable for pre-school children:

The Shark Set, contains three of the most dangerous sharks:  the blue shark, the tiger shark and the white shark. This set compliments the Schleich Ocean figurines set we have and has been well played with in our tuff spot.

They are a great starting point for discussing animals and although there is no information included in the set you can find out more about them on the website.

The Lion Cave Set shows a desert lioness seeking shelter from the scorching heat in a cave. Only in the evening will she leave the shelter again to go hunting. This set required putting together in a couple of simple steps. It’s also surprisingly sturdy and heavy.

Schleich Lion Cave Set

This is the first habitat we have played with and it definitely adds an extra dimension to play time. Both my children love The Lion King so it has been interesting watching them play with it and recreate this film!

Schleich toys are available in all good toy shops and they have a handy Store Locator on their website.

Disclosure – we received these items to review.
