Schleich new Wildlife animals {review}

Posted on February 16, 2018March 12, 2023 by jenny

Over half term my children have been discovering all of their toys which has been really lovely to see. After school clubs and activities mean they don’t get to play nearly as much as they would like to! Today was a Schleich day and they set up some of their favourite sites all over the living room.

Learning about animals opens up a fascinating world for pre-school children and with Schleich’s vast collection of farm and wild life animals. This kind of toy is perfect as little ones can learn as they play. I love the fact that each Schleich animal, whether new or part of the existing line-up, can be collected one by one until an entire play world is created. You can also add some of the larger playsets to create a whole new world!

Schleich Wildlife range

We were recently sent some new animals from the Schleich Wildlife range, including the lion, Black Bull, Indian Rhino, and Pig to try out at home. New animals and accessories are added year after year to ensure that children’s imaginations grow along with their collection.

Schleich new Wildlife animals {review}

As you would expect from Schleich, each animal is highly detailed with high quality paintwork. I love that my children can see a whole range of animals up close. They both have their favourite range. Little Sis loves the puppies and dinosaur range whilst my 7 year old has always loved the wildlife range. The animals are the perfect size for popping into bags so many came with us over half term. It means anywhere can become a playground – Schleich figures are perfect for hiding both indoors and outdoors now that the weather is getting warmer! Take a look at the children playing with their new toys here:

The figures are all highly collectible, my children love to make sure they have as many of a set they can get. They’re lucky our local toy shop stocks Schleich so they can buy them with their pocket money.

The Schleich Croco Jungle Research Station and Schleich Large Skull Trap with velociraptor have been very popular in our house. They are great toys and so easy to add to with additional animals. My children have been having all kinds of adventures with their new Wildlife toys.

The toys are very reasonably priced: Lion £5.99, Black Bull £7.99, Indian Rhino £7.99 and Pig £7.99. Schleich toys are perfect for children aged 3-5. You can see the full collection at www.schleich-s.co.uk
