We love the toy brand Schleich. Regular readers will know this as they feature quite often here on our blog. Schleich make the most beautiful, realistic, hand-painted figure which my children love to collect and play with.
A few weeks ago we were sent the new Marvel Thor figurine from Schleich to review.
One of the latest superheroes to join the Schleich collection is the mighty Thor! This new figurine looks exactly like the character in the up and coming Thor: Ragnarok film. This is part of their Marvel range which includes such as Spider-man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Dr Strange, Venom, Falcon, Iron Man and Green Goblin.

I admit to quite liking Chris Hemsworth who played Thor in Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2011) and plays him again in Thor: Ragnarok (2017) which is in cinemas from 27th October. Thor is a brilliant character.
Thor, the Viking god, is almost invincible. His mighty hammer, Mjolnir, allows him to control storms, thunder and lightning, and it always returns to the hand of its powerful master. He comes from Asgard. When his father Odin, king of the gods, sends him to earth, he becomes a member of the Avengers so that he can fight side by side with other superheroes against the forces of evil – above all, his hate-filled brother, Loki.
The figurine is detailed and matches the character in the film really closely. As you would expect with all Schleich figures, it is of excellent quality, and has been hand-painted with detailed modelling.
I will be keeping this figure out of the way of my children. It sits nicely on a shelf with my DC Comics Wonder Woman figure. It’s ideal for recreating movie scenes and I know my children will probably end up playing with it at some point!

10.00 is a smart price for a collectable,in the States,this would be sold for twice as much. Definitely keep it safe,it will grow in value.
Awesome figurine. I know someone who collects a lot of comic figurines. I will definitely have to pass this on, even the price is on point.
