I’ve mentioned before how fantastic the Isle of Wight is for charity shops. We’re fortunate we have family that live there so I have lots of opportunities to shop. Saturday was the Round the Island Yacht Race so we had an amazing view of the yachts heading round the Island. Ventnor is a great place to spend a couple of hours. I can’t be the only parent in the world who loves buying toys for their children. I don’t think you ever really grow bored of toys and children are a great excuse for forgetting the washing up and having some fun! I’ve been having a good think about the food I give the children recently. It’s really hard ensuring two children of different ages get the nutrition they need. The 7 month old has really taken to weaning but unfortunately at the expense of her milk. She’d much rather have some healthy fromage frais or pureed fruit than a boring bottle of milk. The toddler is going through a difficult stage. He never wants to eat the food I’ve lovingly cooked but will happily sidle up to me when I’m eating my microwaved dinner and try to pinch something from it!…
