Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.
Monday Happy Things {Week 405}
Hope you had a great week. We were so busy as our old fridge freezer broke down and we had to get a new fridge freezer. Unfortunately we had just done a big food shop and couldn’t find any neighbours with space to store our food so had to throw a lot away.
We had a lovely visit to the Hitchin Lavender Fields last week with our dog. The kids were at school so we just went for a lovely walk through the rows of lavender. We stopped for lunch in the pretty town of Hitchin.
My son was excited to win the parent and scout evening at Scouts for the second year running. They took part in a number of activities including archery, shooting, bungee run and frisbee golf.
Yesterday we spent the morning at KidZania London where we had been invited to the premiere of of Jack and the Beanstalk from Future Spotlight Productions in collaboration with KidZania London. The show was a fun twist on an old tale and will be entertaining audiences in the theatre at KidZania this summer.
We had plenty of time for crafting this weekend. My daughter made a cheeky sasquatch face out of felt. And I was able to make a start on the resin coaster kit I won a few weeks ago.

July 21, 2022 at 6:05 pmI have never been to Hitchin lavender fields, only to Mayfield as it is much closer to where I live, in the South of London. I do find walking through a lavender field very relaxing.
