Stitching an embroidered tiger keyring

I don’t work during school holidays so wanted to have a little project to make. I have quite a few craft kits so didn’t know which one to pick. Thankfully the latest issue of Mollie Makes landed with a very cute cover craft kit.

Regular readers will know that every month I challenge myself to make the Mollie Makes magazine cover gift. I’ve subscribed since it first came out and have had a drawer full of unopened kits – but no more! I’ve been making more time for grown up crafting and I love to make the kits and hopefully try something new.

Issue 103 came with a sweet Tiger Keyring kit designed by Bethan Janine. The craft kit included a panel of printed fabric, needle, embroidery threads, stuffing and a metal keyring.

It was a simple project to embellish some of the flowers around the tiger, then stitch the fabric panels together and stuff it. I made it whilst I was watching DC Titans on Netflix. It was a sweet project that didn’t need much attention. I decided to use my machine to stitch the two panels together.

It makes for a sweet keyring, hopefully it will help me find my keys which always seem to sink to the bottom of my handbag.

I would like to know where I can order some of your embroidery kits. Espically the kitty key ring.
