Aquabeads Toy Story figure set

Aquabeads Toy Story Character Set

Posted on June 22, 2017June 22, 2017 by jenny

I’m a huge fan of creative toys which my children can play with independently. Aquabeads is one such brand that my children love. It’s a small bead toy (perfect for ages 4 and over) which sticks together with water. This means my children can choose their designs and easily make them, spray them with water and leave them to dry. We recently received the Aquabeads Toy Story Character Set which I wanted to share.

Who doesn’t love Toy Story? I’ve always loved Disney films but Toy Story has a special place in my heart. It’s one film I can watch over and over again, along with Toy Story 2 and 3 and I’m really looking forward to Toy Story 4 (although it’s not out until 2019!).

We’ve reviewed a few Aquabeads sets now because we love them. With the recent heatwave this was the perfect toy to leave out for my son. My 7 year old has been having huge difficultly sleeping but was happy to get up and make some Aquabead creations in the early morning. We have a few different playsets but you can see this time he decided to use a cupcake tray to hold the different coloured beads.

He started to get frustrated with the heat and swapped the template tray that came with the Aquabeads Toy Story Character Set for the layout table/storage tray from the Aquabeads Super Mario playset. He quickly whipped up the Buzz Lightyear design and then Woody and one of the Little Green Men.

Aquabeads are really easy – simply Make, Spray and they Stay! This is a lovely creative toy and perfect if your child is looking for a quiet activity. There are always new designs being released but the Toy Story Character Set is easily one of our favourites. It includes 3 template sheets, a layout tray, sprayer, beads and instructions.

I’ve seen so many people raving about Aquabeads! My nephews would love this. They love getting crafty. I’m about to search for designs now. Of course I’ll have to get my big kid self one and join in!

Wow This is really good and I’m sure my son would love this too and a great way to keep him busy while I’m doing the house chores.

My daughter absolutely loves aquabeads. She had the Frozen set before and I’m always amazed at how well the end product looks. I love the detail in the buzz lightyear set!

We never tried these but they look much simpler than the ones which we had to iron to melt them together. Spilled them so many times whilst carrying the design to the safe spot where the iron could be used.
