We can’t be the only family who is a lot happier now the weather has cooled down. We don’t enjoy the very hot weather and hated being restricted to being indoors in the hottest parts of the day. Thankfully we had lots of arts and crafts to keep the children busy. They both enjoy crafting with Aquabeads, small coloured beads which stick together with water.
Aquabeads Disney Princess Character Set
We were sent the Aquabeads Disney Princess Character Set to play with at home. Make Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel, Tiana and Jasmine with the charming Disney Princess Character Set! There are over 600 jewel and solid beads in 16 colours as well as a layout tray, sprayer, 1 double-sided template sheet and one single-sided template sheet so you can create your own magical kingdom.
It is a really simple activity which needs hardly any supervision. I gave my daughter a tray and she emptied all the beads out, picked a design and was happy.
Aquabeads are suitable for children aged 4+. I really like them as they are great for aiding fine motor skills. You can use a bead picker or just your fingers to complete the design.
This set included over 600 jewel and solid beads in 16 colours, a layout tray, water sprayer and template sheets.
When my daughter had completed her design she filled the water sprayer and gently covered her design. It sets with a few sprays of water and then you can gently peel the design off the tray. We let the other side dry before making another design. There weren’t enough beads to make all of the designs but we were able to raid our stash for more beads. You can buy extra packs of beads too.
