I love the few subscription boxes I sign up for regularly. They are always something I look forward to and the contents usually keep me busy for weeks. The Summer Craftpod sub box arrived right at the beginning of Summer and I have finally finished it.

Wild Rose and Strawberries {Summer Craftpod}

The Summer 2021 Craftpod contained two summer themed projects to enjoy. One was the Wild Rose and Strawberry Embroidery, with the pattern printed onto 100% cotton fabric, with 7 DMC embroidery threads, in a 5 inch hoop.

I really loved the way the embroidery threads complimented each other. I usually enjoy stitching an embroidery hoop but I found the satin stitch very repetitive and quite frustrating to sew. There were a few times when I wanted to put it away (and forget about it!) but I have a few uncompleted embroidery hoops and didn’t want any more.

I did finally finish the embroidery hoop, and was very happy about it.

The second project was the Liberty Fabric Bookmark project, using a gorgeous Tana Lawn fabric called Field Flowers. This took about 30 minutes and I enjoyed trying something new.

As well as the two craft projects, there was a handy Strawberry shopping list notepad, a Wild Strawberry vintage postcard and of course tea!
