As you know we were lucky enough to be lent a Bugaboo Bee to help us during our Summer Bucket List. Our summer isn’t over yet as the toddler doesn’t start nursery until the 26th so we’re still busy going out and about. Little Sis sleeping I absolutely adore the Bugaboo Bee, as I knew I would. Most of my NCT group had one, but we were sensible and bought a second hand Bugaboo Cameleon, which I adored at the time. Anyway, I thought it might be useful to compare the Bugaboo Bee and Bugaboo Cameleon. The Bugaboo Cameleon…

I’ve always thought of myself as a bit of a pram junkie. I was lucky enough to have been chosen to test the new iCandy Strawberry over the last few months. It’s a nice pram but it didn’t blow me away so I decided to give it back early. I found it a bit big for using on public transport so it’s gone. We’re not missing it so I know I made the right decision. This means that Little Sis is getting to use the front seat of the Phil & Ted’s a lot more as the toddler just loves…

The latest celebrity must-have looks like it will be the fabulous limited edition Joolz as chosen by Sienna Miller. Little Sis and I were invited to Soho House for the exciting reveal of two new editions of the Joolz travel system, the award winning Dutch brand (they’ve just been awarded a Gold Mother & Baby award for best travel system). When the email inviting us to see these new travel systems landed in my inbox I couldn’t wait to take a look – it’s not every day a launch is held at the exclusive Soho House. Little Sis and I…

I’m at war with my pram. I don’t understand it. It was expensive and the ‘must have’ accessory where we live but it’s by no means ideal. At one point late last year we had 6 prams stuffed in every corner of the house and sheds (yes sheds, our house is overflowing!). We sold 2 and left one at my mum’s so now we have just 3. That leaves our Voyage which I love. I can’t bear to part with it and I live in hope that one day we will leave the house with BB walking and LS in…

Hello Third Trimester! I’ve been so busy my feet are barely touching the ground lately! Last week I had a Glucose Challenge Test (which is part of the screening for gestational diabetes) and an extra scan. I’m not too sure what the scan was meant to be checking but everything seemed to be fine. I had an appointment with a consultant today (only my third appointment this pregnancy) and am booked in for another appointment at 36 weeks. I know I’m happy and healthy but I do find it strange I’m 7 months pregnant and have only had three appointments,…

The good thing about having a very active 16 month old is that there’s NO time to think about being pregnant. This is both a good and a bad thing. Good because if I think too much I start to worry how I’m going to cope. Bad because I’m finding it really hard to put my feet up, relax and enjoy being pregnant. At some stage I’m going to have to get the newborn car seat back from my mum’s house as well as the new baby clothes we left there when Edward outgrew them. I need to pack a…

A couple of months ago I was tweeting about how frustrated I was with the stroller we were using. It was a wet and windy day and the flimsy rain cover had ripped, only the second time we had used it. Mamas and Papas came to my rescue and offered me the chance to try one of their strollers. I chose the Mamas and Papas Voyage as this seemed to have a brilliant sun and rain cover. We’ve used it every day since it arrived and our old one is forgotten in a corner somewhere. Some of the features we…

We were offered the chance to review a buggysnuggle. I don’t know if you’ve heard of them but they are basically a universal footmuff. Now, you know I’m a pram junkie and have used both Quinny and Bugaboo footmuffs but I hadn’t purchased a footmuff for my Maclaren Quest Sport so I was looking forward to trying the buggysnuggle out. When the buggysnuggle arrived I ripped the packaging off and set about putting it on our Maclaren. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to attach to the buggy. The design means it doesn’t have to be…

As part of the latest QuinnyCasters challenge I invited a fellow QuinnyCaster to write a guest post about her experiences with the Quinny Zapp Xtra. Sabina writes over at Mummy Matters: Describe the Quinny Zapp Xtra in three words – Lightweight, Versatile, Funky Marks out of ten? – 8/10 What’s your favourite feature? – I love that you can have it front or parent facing, its nice to have the choice. Can I sneak in a second “favourite” – I love the hood, its so much better than other hoods on the market. What could be improved? – The chassis…
