    Paper bear craft for kids

    We are fully embracing Autumn at the moment. It’s my favourite time of year and I’m so happy to get my warmest jumpers out of storage and our winter duvet on. I’m beginning to feel a little like a bear getting ready to hibernate for winter and that actually gave me a fantastic idea for a craft activity! So today I’m showing you how to make a cute paper bear craft. Why not make some teddy bear toast and have a crafting session?     Paper Ice Lollies {Mollie Makes}

    Regular readers will know that every month I challenge myself to make the Mollie Makes magazine cover gift. I’ve subscribed since it first came out and have had a drawer full of unopened kits – but no more! I’ve been making more time for grown up crafting and I love to make the kits and hopefully try something new. Paper Ice Lollies Issue 93 of Mollie Makes landed yesterday. In case you’re wondering what happened to Issue 91 and 92, well 92 contained a crochet kit which I gave to a friend. Issue 91 came with fabric and a project book which…

    EmbellishBox for paper cutters {April box}

    The weeks are going very quickly at the moment. I use my monthly subscriptions to mark the weeks and was very surprised to receive the latest Embellish Box. This is a monthly subscription box full of paper templates for paper cutting. Each box is themed and the latest box was called Up Up and Away. Inside the box were 4 x templates (Enjoying the view, Two balloons, Up up and away, and a balloon basket), 3 x backing papers from PaperStory.co.uk as well as some themed goodies: a hot air balloon lantern, cloud magnet, hanging hot air balloon and a…

    Mollie Makes Creativity bookazine

    A few weeks ago I saw an advert for Mollie Makes Creativity bookazine. I have a few of the MM bookazines and overall they are pretty good value, although I do find they recycle some of their features from the monthly issues. The last few months have been all about exploring paper craft and paper cutting. I am so happy to have discovered papercutting and the best thing is – it hardly takes up any room! Over the years I have explored sewing, embroidery, patchwork and quilting and I have a *lot* of supplies. Papercutting requires a cutting mat and scalpel and…

    EmbellishBox monthly templates for paper cutting {subscription box}

    Last year I really embraced paper cutting. I love paper cutting. It requires few materials and seems to take up less room than my sewing stuff. It’s also easier to put down and pick up again which is why I have a folder full of paper cuts! Having worked my way through Cut It Out! by Poppy Chancellor I was looking for more designs to cut out. I bought a few books from Amazon and then heard about the Embellish Box. This is a monthly subscription box for paper cutters. It sounded great so I bought myself a box and…

    Gift guide for Papercutters

    I’ve mentioned a few times now that I’m completely fallen under the spell of paper cutting as a brilliant craft. I was first introduced to it a few years ago when I attended a workshop run by Poppy Chancellor. I booked myself on another paper cutting class with Poppy Chancellor at The Handmade Fair in 2015 and was hooked. I snapped up her book Cut It Out! and quickly worked my way through it so have been looking for more templates and inspiration ever since. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favourite paper cutting things…
