The May Bank Holiday weekend saw us enjoying a family weekend away. We managed to fit in some grown up time to see the new Captain America: Civil War film which was really good. We are a family which loves Lego. We have more Lego sets than we can display in our living room and my 6 year old have a Lego collection to rival any adult. He has a homemade Lego table and storage system which I have previously written about but we’ve recently bought him a new bed and changed his room around and he basically is not interested in keeping his Lego sets separate (much to my annoyance!). I stitched a cute little mini quilt inspired by love hearts. I totally meant to hand stitch some messages on each one but didn’t have time. We’re huge fans of Lego. My husband and I grew up with it and have grown into AFOLs (Adult Fans of Lego!). Last year we spent some time sorting out our 5 year olds bedroom. He doesn’t seem to need much sleep so we wanted to make an area for him to play when he wakes up early.
