Monday Happy List

Monday Happy Things {Week 381}

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List  is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 381}

I’ve been in my new job for two months now and it’s going really well. The one thing I really needed was an Excel refresher! Everything we do is in Excel and I really needed a bit of help. So I spent Wednesday on an all day Excel course. It was actually really helpful to go over the basics.

Unfortunately last week my son caught covid. He felt pretty poorly and spent the week watching Star Wars and eating ice cream. It seems that everyone I know has caught covid in the last few weeks.

I couldn’t resist the 1921 census any more and spent a few hours looking for records relating to my family. 1921 almost feels like within living memory, although I did find a few surprises and will be sharing them on my family history website.

Our weekend was pretty quiet as my son was ill. We had a few movie nights and watched Encanto which we all enjoyed. I can’t wait to go to the cinema soon.

There has been plenty of crafting time this week. I’ve finished some handmade gifts for Valentines Day and now started on the Winter Craftpod box I bought last month. So far I’ve stitched the little scissor case and I started on a pretty own applique. Hopefully I will have time to finish it this weekl.

Have a great week!

    I am glad the new job is going well. I wouldn’t have a clue when it comes to Excel but my girls are pretty good with it. I hope your son is feeling better now x
