January felt like a long month so I am super excited that today is the first of February. February is a great month with Valentine’s Day, Shrove Tuesday and my husband’s birthday! We love making Valentine’s Day a really family affair. In our house everyone gets a card and we love to craft as red is such a gorgeous colour after a harsh winter. Today I wanted to share a fun no-sew felt craft with you to make a bouquet of felt roses. Make one or make a bunch, they are so easy and look great!
How to make a bouquet of felt roses
Materials:
Thick red felt
Green pipe cleaners
Scissors
Glitter
Hot glue/hot glue gun (we like this Ryobi one – Amazon affiliate link)
How to make felt roses
Cut your felt into 3” by 10” strips.
Use the scissors to cut a wavy edge on one of the 10” sides.
Carefully apply hot glue and roll the felt halfway from one 3” end. Add the pipe cleaner to the center and continue to glue and roll.
Once dry fold the outter edges over and sprinkle with glitter (optional)
