Christmas Wreath Kit from I Do Handmade

From making your own wreath kits to kindness advent calendar kits, there’s something suitable for all ages. We were kindly gifted the Christmas Wreath kit to try at home. This was my first time making a wreath with real foliage and greenery but I was excited to try it. Inside my kit was real spruce, eucalyptus, pine cones and artificial berries.

There was a really handy video which made the whole process quite straightforward. First I made the half wreath.

Then I started adding the foliage, holding it in place with floral wire.

Once the greenery was in place I could add the decorations, which included orange slices, fir cones and artificial berries.

I was so pleased with the way my wreath turned out and hope it will last for a good few weeks. It took me about an hour to make the wreath and it was lovely and relaxing to try a new craft. For those thinking about trying mindful new projects in the New Year, I Do Handmade also offers all-year-round creativity kits including crochet, macrame and block printing kits.
