Starting the week by writing theย Happy Listย is something Iโve been doing for a while. This is my chance to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. Itโs a post I always love to write.
Five Happy Things {Week 466}
Both my kids had a full week of school and got on really well. My daughter tried Netball Club too which she enjoyed.
Over the weekend we picked up a Pooch Passport at Hughenden Manor, our local National Trust property. From 1st September to 29th February, you can take part in the National Trust Pooch Passport scheme, running at 19 selected properties across London and the South East. Collect six unique stamps from participating properties and claim a free bag of tasty dog treats. Collect another passport with stamps from 12 unique visits and get a limited edition National Trust ‘ruff’ for your dog to wear!
I’ve made a good start on my 365 days embroidery wheel. I’ve been using the 365 Days of Stitching to pick the embroidery for each day. I’m keeping a little list on my phone to make sure I don’t forget anything and it’s fun to have a little project to do.
I love having something to look forward to and have bought tickets to see Keane at the O2 in May 2024. They are my favourite band and are doing a world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hopes and Fears. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve seen them live and this time the kids will be coming with us!
Have a great week!
