Enchanted Wood {Autumn Craftpod}

Enchanted Wood {Autumn Craftpod}

I wanted to share two of the little crafty projects I finished recently. Sometimes it feels like my makes are a little thin on the ground, but that’s only because I forget to share them! Craftpod is one of my favourite subscription boxes. It comes 4 times a year but the projects are worth waiting for. For some reason I didn’t finish the Summer box (maybe next year).

Enchanted Garden was the theme for the Autumn box. I love the colours of Autumn so I was excited to receive the box. It contained two projects: a felt woodland badger with a little toadstool on his back and an embroidered Fly Algaric toadstool. I always enjoy working with felt so started on that first.

The pieces were very small but it was fun to stitch and watch it come to life. I stitched a tiny little toadstool on his back.

The second project was a Fly Algaric toadstool embroidery designed by Emilie Ferris. It used her painting with thread technique which was really fun to try. The colours were quite subtle and it was often hard to see where one started and the other ended.

I love how it turned out though, definitely worth all the effort with those tiny stitches!

As well as the two projects, the box contained a sweet toadstool pin, a postcard and a tea bag so you could enjoy a cup of tea with your crafting.

I’ve asked for the Winter Craftpod for Christmas so I will have something to keep my hands busy during the Christmas holidays.
