Crafting: Winter Craftpod subscription box

Crafting: Winter Craftpod subscription box

Posted on January 29, 2020 by jenny

It’s been a slow start to the year for me. Our little pup takes a lot of time (I’m constantly watching for signs he needs the loo!) so I haven’t had much free time. That’s why I love a subscription box though! They contain everything you need and the projects can usually be finished in a few evenings.

My husband kindly gifted me the Winter Craftpod box for Christmas, which was a lovely treat. I tried to resist any spoilers of the contents on Instagram so was delighted when I was able to open it. This is a quarterly subscription box containing a couple of crafts and a few treats. I’ve always enjoyed the contents and look forward to the opportunity to craft.

The two projects were a sweet Scandi inspired cross stitch designed by Attic24 and a collage project by paper artist Clover Robin. I decided to stitch the cross stitch first. This was a great size for me as I get bored quickly but this only took a few evenings.

The second project was a paper collage which I knew would be fun. I’ve tried a few pieces of collage and I love that every piece is unique. There were a lot of supplies for the collage including paper, card – I just needed to supply scissors and a glue stick.

I loved creating my Winter scene.

I managed to get my hands on all 4 Craftpod boxes from 2018 (not quite sure what happened to 2019’s!):

Thinking of treating the twins to a subscription box, think it will be something nice to look forward to, just wanted to make sure they were worth the money.

The Craftpod is definitely for adults but there are some lovely crafty subscription boxes for kids around too.

This is a beautiful gift idea, my mum would love something like this so I will have to look out for Mother’s Day offers.

Unfortunately they don’t do offers as they are an independent business. They also only produce 4 boxes a year, and they sell out very quickly!
