Henri Le Worm: The Missing Cookbook, a fun new app for the iPad was launched today at Brasserie Blanc in Covent Garden. We were very excited to be invited to the launch event, especially as Simon Pegg, who lent his voice to Henri, attended the event too! We were invited to take part in a little challenge to find the best budget travel gadgets for 2013, called ‘Inspect-A-Gadget’. We’re a family who love our gadgets so I couldn’t resist. Over the last couple of weeks we’re been using an Android Tablet. I have to admit that my husband and I both have iPhones and iPads (he has the big one, I have the small) and Macs. The toddler is very lucky for he was recently sent a lovely picture book and audiobook featuring Myro, the smallest plane in the world. Over the last few weeks the 8 month old has been taking a noticeable interest in iPhones and iPads. The toddler is allowed to play some games on our iPad and watch YouTube for about 30 minutes a day. My new favorite toy is the BT video baby monitor we were recently sent. Forget Mad Men and Alcatraz, the new show everyone is talking about is the Big Brother Show. In his cot bed at 7pm every night I thought he was putting his head down and sleeping.
