    Signs of the Sewdiac Subscription Box {January Box}

    Just before Christmas I heard about a new subscription box for crafters, the Signs of the Sewdiac Subscription Box from Samantha Claridge at Sew Crafty. I liked the idea of this subscription kit because it’s a 12 months one that you can dip in and out of. It promised a selection of products to complement a creative lifestyle. Every box would include a collectable enamel pin and selection of exclusive products including notepads, greetings cards, postcards, pens, pencils, patches, fabric, haberdashery, stickers as well as complimentary products available on the website. For example, a banner to keep your pin badge…

    Mindful stitching with the Winter Craftpod box

    Before Christmas I received the Winter Craftpod box. This is my favourite subscription box at the moment. It comes quarterly which means I actually have time to make what’s inside and enjoy it! What was inside the Winter Craftpod box? There were two Winter crafts – a sweet stitching project to embroider Winterberries in a small hoop, and a stamp making kit. There was also a postcard by Jamilla Beukema, a sheet of stickers by Nastia Sleptsova, a Black Chai teabag and Vivani chocolate. I love receiving my Craftpod box, it really is something I look forward to opening. The first thing…

    Dinner sorted with Box’d Fresh

    As a stay at home mum it’s a sad truth that mealtimes fall to me. Breakfast and packed lunches aren’t too bad but by the time it comes to the evening meal I have often run out of ideas – especially after the school run, after school clubs and homework are sorted. The children are easy to feed but I often fall into cooking the same uninspired meals for me and my husband – sorry hubby. Last week I was sent a complimentary box from Box’d Fresh to try out at home. This is an exciting new recipe box delivery service created…

    Kawaii box reveal and giveaway

    I’m so excited to share with you the contents of a Kawaii Box today. As you know, I *LOVE* subscription boxes. I think I could happily sit and open them all day. My kids love them too, so were happy to sit and help me open the latest Kawaii Box. What’s inside the latest Kawaii Box? The November 2017 Kawaii Box was called the Kawaii Thanksgiving Parade. Living in the UK we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving at all so I was interested to see what was inside the box. It’s been a while since we last reviewed a Kawaii Box. They…

    Autumn Craftpod review

    I really enjoyed the Summer Craftpod subscription box. I loved the contents so found it easy to set aside time to make the craft projects. It’s the only subscription box I’m paying for at the moment and I really love it. I loved the sound of the Autumn Craftpod box so bought it as soon as I could. It’s slim enough to fit through the letterbox which is a big bonus for me. Inside were some lovely goodies: a toadstool embroidery hoop and notebook by Maggie Magoo Designs, two little felt owls, a postcard by Amy Rose of The Floral…

We’ve tried a few Japan Candy Boxes before, this is a delicious monthly subscription box filled with 8-10 sweet treats from Japan. I love kawaii – who doesn’t it? – and we all loved looking at each packet and trying to guess what was inside. Take a look at our video…

    Stitching {Summer Craftpod Sub Box}

But when I received an email about the Summer Craftpod box I immediately signed up as it was all about cacti and moths! You can read what I thought about the Spring Craftpod box here. I find it hard to make time for me but a Craftpod box landing on my doormat immediately makes me shut my laptop and get making. Summer Craftpod Sub Box The Craftpod is a lovely subscription box. The BrickBox subscription box for brick fans

    As fans of all things brick we were delighted to hear about a new subscription box for Lego fans called BrickBox. This is a monthly subscription box and we recently received the June box and made a little unboxing video of the contents: The BrickBox theme for this month was: Lego Jungle from the Lego City range which we were really excited about as we had spotted some sets in our local toy shop at the weekend and thought they looked brilliant. This BrickBox contained three Lego sets – the Lego Jungle Starters Set, the Lego Jungle Buggy and a Lego Jungle…
