    Rick Roll Elf on the Shelf

    Do you have a Scout Elf who comes from the North Pole to make sure your kids are behaving ? We’ve had our elves for a few years now and built up a stack of mini props so they can make the kids laugh each morning. My kids are now 12 and 13 so unfortunately don’t believe in all the Christmas magic that they used to. Thankfully they haven’t told me explicitly yet, so we are still having fun with our elves! I love that our Christmas traditions have changed whilst the kids have grown up. Whilst we no longer…

    Five Happy Things {Week 478}

    Starting the week by writing the Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while over the last few years. It is my chance to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I love to write and look back over. Five Happy Things {Week 478} As we still have the decorators in we can’t get to our Christmas decorations. Instead we’ve put up our external Christmas lights but haven’t decorated inside yet. Thankfully we already had lots of candles…
