Easy Halloween Paper Bat craft for kids
Download the template and prepare the patterns for the bat craft. Select different shades of grey or black for the bat or you can use any coloured craft papers for the bat patterns. Trace the template patterns onto the selected papers with a pencil, and cut out the traced patterns.
Glue the inner ear cutouts to the outer ear cutouts and glue the belly cutout to the bottom part of the bat base cutout.
Glue the ear patterns to the top side of the bat base.
Glue the eyes and blush spots to the top part of the bat base.
Glue the fangs below the eyes and between the blush spots. Use a marker to trace the mouth line above the fangs. Glue the wing bases on both sides of the bat base, keeping one straight side along the top and gluing the other straight side with the base.
Take a wing base cutout and create accordion folds with it.
Hold the straight side of the accordion folded pattern together.
Secure the joint side by gluing a small paper strip to that side/ corner.
Prepare the other wing the same way.
Apply glue on the wing base (attached to the bat) and place an accordion folded wing on the base as shown in the image.
Then attach the other wing to complete the craft.
