A few weeks ago I spotted a wooden pumpkin stall kit which I knew would be perfect for my little Maileg world. So I enjoyed a little DIY to make the perfect Halloween pumpkin stand.
DIY Maileg Halloween pumpkin stand
The Make Your Own Wooden Pumpkin Stall was just £5 from The Works. The kit included all the wooden parts, instructions, paints and paint brush, as well as a sheet of stickers. The wooden pumpkin stand included a string of wooden bunting, as well as a small sign and 2d wooden pumpkins, both of which could be slotted on the stand.
I pushed all the pieces in to make the stand before painted it. I chose the one colour for the stand, and a couple of different colours for the bunting and pumpkins. It stands about 12cm tall – which is the perfect size for Maileg!
I thought the pumpkin stand could be used all year round as a cute accessory for my Maileg mice, so painted the main parts using a neutral colour. The pumpkins I painted in the usual orange and greens.
When they were dry we could set them up. We have lots of resin pumpkins so it was easy to add them to the pumpkin stall for some small world play. Our Halloween decorations are already up at home, so it’s been fun to add our Maileg mice and give them a seasonal setting too.
