One of my many favourite things about Spring is the pretty cherry blossom that magically appears on the tree in our garden. It inspired this cherry blossom paper flower craft for kids. Made with coloured paper and glue we hope you will have fun making your own cherry blossom this Spring time

How to make cherry blossom paper flower craft for kids
The template includes a separate pattern of the petal and a layout of the petal pattern on the folded paper. Take a piece of square paper.
Fold the square paper in half, vertically.
Fold the current paper in half again but horizontally.
Use a pencil to draw the petal layout on the folded paper, keeping the pointy end at the closed end of the folded paper.
Use scissors to cut out the traced petal layout.
Fold the petal cutout in half from its tip to the closed end.
Unfold the petal cutout.
Make valley folds along the middle creases of each petal.
Trace and cut out the 4 petaled-pattern from a yellow coloured paper.
Attach the 4 petaled-pattern to the center of the cherry blossom flower base cutout.
Take a green paper of 3:2 ratios.
Fold the longer side in half and use a pencil to trace the leaf layout on the closed side of the green paper.
Cut out the traced leaf pattern.
Fold the leaf cutout in half from its tip to the closed end.
Unfold all folds.
Attach the leaf pattern under the cherry blossom papercraft.
I love these little cherry blossoms and think this makes a fun paper flower craft for kids. Let me know if you make some!
