The only magazine subscription I have these days is Love Embroidery. It’s a great magazine packed with projects and inspiration and I love the cover gifts. The latest issue 67 included an embroidered ice lolly keyring stitch kit.

When I opened the envelope a wooden bobbin fell out, along with 5 colourful skeins of thread and a keychain. The wooden bobbin is great for organising threads for your latest project, but also makes a fun keychain to hang from your bag or keys.
The magazine had two different templates. One for an ice lolly, the other for a cute sunburst design.
I preferred to make up my own pattern and cross stitched my initial on it.
I really like it and think it would make a great gift idea too or little personalised topper for a crafty friend. I’ve seen the same little wooden bobbin on Temu if you wanted to try this yourself.

This would make a great bag tag too.
