Visitors to London are blessed with not one, but two free sculpture trails this summer. The other day we told you about Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London. We’ve visited the trail twice so far (there are so many sculptures to find!) but were equally excited to hear about The Tusk Gorilla Trail at Covent Garden.
The Tusk Gorilla Trail at Covent Garden
The immersive art installation an be found in the heart of historic central London. The trail is live from 14th July until 14th October 2023 in support of African conservation.
There are 15 life-sized sculptures of gorillas, all designed by individuals working in the worlds of art, design, film, photography and comedy.
We downloaded a map and set about trying to find the sculptures. They are dotted all around Covent Garden and Seven Dials and we stumbled upon must of them.
Unlike the Morph statues, not many people seemed as interested in these sculptures. The sculptures are eye catching and a fun way to explore the area.
Each statue has a QR code where you can make a donation to Tusk and find out more.

My son absolutely loves trails and would love this. Hoping to head to the capital in August so will check it out.
Your article on the Tusk Gorilla Trail at Covent Garden is fantastic! The engaging description and vivid imagery make it feel like we’re on the trail ourselves. The initiative to support African conservation adds a meaningful touch to the art exploration. Keep up the great work!
This is soooo cool! I’ve never been to the Covent garden and would love to go there with my family, the place is so much fun.
I think that could be fun following trails with sculptures. A shame that it’s so far away
I love it when they put up these sculpture trails! The design of the gorillia is a very fun one to follow around.
