Pumpkin patches near London {2020 update}

Pumpkin patches near London {2020 update}

For the past few years I have enjoyed putting together a post about the best pumpkin patches near London. Living on the edge of London we are able to travel into Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and more to find the perfect pumpkin patch. There’s just something wonderful about a walk (and a photo or two) at a pumpkin patch. I’m sure I would never have said this a few years ago but it’s something the whole family enjoys, and the perfect Autumnal day out.

Pumpkin patches near London {updated for 2020}

As pumpkin patches are outdoors I’m hopeful that the pandemic won’t stop us from enjoying a visit. I’m sure there will be social distancing, pre-booked tickets and more, but – weather permitting – pumpkin patches will be a great way to get the whole family outdoors come Autumn.

Sadly there are no pumpkin patches in London! However, living in one of the outer boroughs means we are within easy reach of some great farms, pop up farms and farm shops, which will be opening their pumpkin patches soon.

Top of our list to visit is The Pop Up Farm. We had a great visit to their Sunflower Festival last year and they are already advertising their pumpkin and squash patch. It is is as well organised as the Sunflower Festival we will be expecting Instagram opportunities everywhere, and hopefully something cool cooked on their special combine harvester barbecue.
