Review: Silver Spring’s British Spring Water

Silver Spring have launched a new spring water especially designed for children with the aim of encouraging them to keep hydrated. Apparently only 6% of children drink their recommended daily allowance of water. The bottles feature three designs: Angelina Ballerina, Firemen Sam and Bob the Builder.

Edward received the Firemen Sam and Bob the Builder bottles to try. At 14 months old I struggle to get him to drink during the day. He has a variety of cups for water and apart from his two bottles of milk a day seems to drink very little water.

I gave him a bottle, after removing the safety cap, and straight away he knew how to drink from the bottle.  The bottle is a smaller version of the type his daddy uses and I think he enjoyed being like him! He found the bottle easy to use and the size is perfect for little hands.

We only give Edward milk or water, very occasionally watered down fruit juice as a treat so I like the idea of a bottle of water. The 300ml bottle is perfect for measuring your little one’s water intake and is a handy size for your changing bag or lunch box!

HIT Children’s Spring Water costs 49p per individual bottle or £2.49 for a pack of 6.

Anything that encourages our little ones to drink more whilst remaining healthy in my mind is a good idea x
