I’ve been looking for some small treats recently and thought I would try a few monthly subscription boxes. There used to be some lovely sub boxes, but it’s been a while since I’ve received any. I discovered Hedgerow & Moor on Instagram and signed up for their Monthly Almanac Box. Each month focuses on the British countryside and follows the changing seasons with items such as an illustrated zine, art prints, and delicious seasonal botanical teas.
Hedgerow & Moor Monthly Almanac Box
The July box soon arrived through the letter box. What was inside?
The first item was the monthly zine – the Hedgerow & Moor July Almanac in the Year of 2026. It was packed with information about the month, special days, plants to look for as well as recipes and craft ideas.
I enjoyed reading the Almanac and it is something I can keep referring back to throughout the month.
I had to get my little Observer book out to find out more about the plants, something to look out for on one of my daily dog walks.
The box contained printables, including the wheel of the Year, a print of a bird and a monthly spread for July showing the phases of the moon.
The final few items were a Common blue butterfly totem carved and engraved with the words “the butterfly embraces change when the time is right” – words I needed to hear right now. There was a Golden Hour Herbal Tea Blend which I will be trying soon, as well as a 3-in-1 shower cube trial pack. I’ve already tried one of these and they worked really well. They smelled amazing too and left my hair lovely and clean.
I enjoyed trying something new. I learnt new things, gained some new products to try and supported a small business too. What’s not to love!
