It’s the end of July already! This was a busy month for us with the kids breaking up from school and lots of meet ups with family and friends. Nonetheless I managed to find time to make some fun projects.
What I made in July 2024
I stitched one embroidery hoops, the very cute Cotton Clara x Donna Wilson cat face embroidery which I couldn’t resist. There was another Cotton Clara kit, to make a cross stitch bookmark featuring mugs. I’ve finished the stitching and just need to finish adding the backing to the bookmark.
I added a few more blocks to my Liberty Tumbling Block cushion too – will I finish this cushion cover this year??
My daughter has enjoyed crafting with me this month and we had fun with our foam clay sunflower project, and also made some personalised letter decor filled with resin. These were really fun made over a few days and I will share a tutorial soon – finally written about our easy resin personalised letters here.
Whilst we were out in Kent over the weekend we spotted a cute knitted post box topper. It’s been a while since we saw a really good one but this was filled with all kinds of knitted animals.
I bought some sweet vintage cloths from my local charity shop. I saw a wonderful project on Pinterest to make bunting from vintage doilies which I thought I would try.
