Vintage fuzzy felt

This is the first time I have joined in with Magpie Monday. I’m addicted to charity shops and have some lovely vintage finds dotted around our house. Unfortunately there are only a few charity shops where we live and I have to wait until I visit my family in other parts of the country to get my fix!

Vintage fuzzy felts

My most recent favourite find was this vintage fuzzy felt! I adored fuzzy felt when I was younger and had a couple of boxes stashed at my grandparents house to play with.

I picked up this set for the grand total of one pound in a Save The Children shop where I am always lucky enough to find some great goodies (much to my husbands dismay). The set is complete and includes all the pieces of felt to make six fairy tale scenes, the board and instructions.

I’ll be keeping it well out of the way of Edward until he’s a bit older but I hope he’ll have as much fun as I used to.

  2. OH! I loved fuzzy felts when I was a girl, I could swear from the deep recess of my mind that I had that set, or certainly played with one the same. I remember the black felt witch. Used to scare me witless.
