Felt 4th of July Star Ornament

Felt 4th of July Star Ornament

Posted on June 5, 2024September 21, 2024 by jenny

I can’t resist sharing our felt crafts. Felt is a lovely material to work with and this felt 4th of July star ornament is something that all ages can make.

List of supplies:
Coloured felt fabrics
Pencil
Needle
Matching thread
Ribbon
Cotton
A pair of scissors
Black marker
Felt star ornament template

How to make a felt 4th of July star ornament:

Print and cut out the free template patterns for the star ornament. The template includes star base shapes and smaller stars, hearts, and round shapes. Select white, blue, and red felt fabrics for this ornament.  Trace the ornament patterns on the selected felt fabrics and cut out the traced patterns with scissors.

Place the 2-point part of the star shape on the star base cutout.

Place the small round shapes on the 2-point part.

Use a matching thread (with the small round shapes) to stitch the round shapes with the base and the 2-point part together.

Place the red strip cutouts on the intact part of the star base cutout.
