The Eco-Christmas Craft Book {book review}

The Eco-Christmas Craft

This is a great time of year. Our weekends are full with fun plans and we have Christmas to look forward to (hopefully a normal one this year). I always start my Christmas planning in September as I like to be able to save money and make lots of handmade gifts. I was delighted to receive a copy of The Eco-Christmas Craft Book: 30 stylish festive projects that won’t hurt the planet by Marrianne Miall to review.

The Eco-Christmas Craft Book

If you love Christmas, you’ll love this book! It’s the perfect antidote to the traditional tinsel and glitter that shed harmful microplastics, polluting our oceans and waterways.

The Eco-Christmas Craft Book is filled with ideas to create your own stylishly beautiful, eco-friendly Christmas. All you need to do is save up some recyclable or foraged items such as cardboard, newspaper, wine bottle corks, twigs and pine cones. You can choose your own colour scheme to match your home and, because the materials are recyclable, you could make new ones every year!

The Eco-Christmas Craft

Including all the things that make Christmas special, such as tree decorations, advent items, Christmas cards, table decorations, wreaths and many more, there are 30 fabulous projects to make, and ideas for many more. So start collecting and learn how to make gorgeous, professional-looking decorations cheaply, without harming the planet.

The 30 projects include: Christmas Crackers, Ribbon Tree, Felt Bauble, Milk Bottle Fairy, Yarn-wrapped Cardboard Tree, Foliage-filled Bottle, Cork and Rosemary Place Cards, Cardboard Star Garland, Cardboard Tube Snowflake, Cardboard Angel, Christmas Cards, Napkin Rings, Origami Star Wall Hanging, Paper Strip Bauble, Cork Christmas Tree, Cork Rudolph the Reindeer, Cotton Twine Tied Wreath, Hessian Ruffle Wreath, Branch Christmas Tree, Mini Envelope Advent, Cardboard Tube Advent, Decorated Jars and Tins, Santa Sack Fabric Advent, Gift Wrapping, Hanging Twig Star, Folded Book Tree, Pine Cone Tree, Cork Wreath, Concertina Christmas Tree and Dried Orange Slice Decorations.
