    It’s definitely the time of year to be planning Advent treats for my children. Playmobil is a top manufacturer within preschool toys. We’ve been Playmobil Playologists for a while now and were lucky to receive the Playmobil Advent Calendar to review. In 2013 we reviewed the Playmobil Pirates Treasure Cove advent calendar, in 2014 we reviewed the Playmobil Santa’s Workshop Advent Calendar and last year we reviewed the Playmobil Advent Calendar Fire Rescue Operation with Card Game so I was interested to see how the pirate theme had been updated.     Last month I mentioned that London Fire Brigade fire stations will be hosting 65 collaborative open days with Playmobil across the capital throughout 2016 to teach children about fire safety in the home. These events are part of their 150th anniversary and today we attended the Playmobil VIP launch party at Soho Fire Station to kick off these open days. It was great to see behind the scenes at the fire station. Soho is London’s busiest station covering famous theatres, hotels and London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards Parade.     We’ve been Playmobil Playologists for the last few years and my children absolutely love receiving Playmobil eggs for Easter. They receive plenty of chocolate eggs from friends and family so these plastic eggs and toys are a great alternative. This year they were sent two of the Playmobil Eggs. There are 4 different toys available, each in a different coloured plastic shell. Little Sis received the Mermaid with Seahorses and Big Brother the Soccer Player with Goal.
