We love to watch a family film, especially on Saturday night. New films have been in short supply over the last 3 months so we were delighted to receive a copy of Think Like a Dog which is out on Digital Download on 6th July and DVD on the 20th July from Lionsgate. It’s a very funny, entertaining film – perfect for kids who love dogs! Think Like a Dog Have you ever wished you could talk to your pet? Well, anything is paw-sible this summer as Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox star in Think Like a Dog, the whimsical…

One thing I’ve really missed over the last few months is a trip to the cinema. With cinemas closed we’ve been having the odd movie night. I love to lose myself in a good film, especially when the kids are in bed and I can watch uninterrupted. Last night I got the chance to watch Military Wives which was released just as we were going into lockdown so I never got the chance to watch it. It’s safe to say I absolutely loved the film. I belong to a choir myself and am a huge advocate of the benefits of…

Have you watched the film Missing Link yet? We took part in a fun Viewing Party at home on Monday and we all really enjoyed watching it again. It’s a lovely family film full of great characters with a fun plot. Tired of living a solitary life in the Pacific Northwest, Mr Link, who is 8 feet tall and covered in fur, recruits explorer Sir Lionel Frost to help find his long-lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. Along with adventurer Adelina Fortnight, this trio of explorers travels the world to help their new friend. Through it all, they…

The kids have always been huge fans of Playmobil. Thanks to Playmobil we’ve reviewed some wonderful toys as Playmobil Playologists and had some fun experiences too, like helping Playmobil celebrate their 40th birthday at The Waldorf Hotel, London or helping Playmobil celebrate their partnership with London Fire Brigade at the Playmobil VIP launch party. So we were absolutely delighted to be invited to the premiere of the brand new Playmobil film – Playmobil: The Movie in London today. Playmobil: The Movie Playmobil: The Movie is sure to be the animated highlight of summer 2019. This is the first motion picture…

The weather was amazing over half term. We were out and about a lot but it was really nice to come home and relax in front of a film too. We were kindly sent a box of goodies which contained a copy of Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom which is out on Digital Download from the 11th February and DVD from the 18th February 2019. Have you watched it? Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom Norm of the North returns for another animated adventure. The latest full-length feature from our favourite polar bear – NORM OF…

Yesterday we were invited to a really special immersive screening of the last film in the How To Train Your Dragon franchise, The Hidden World from Universal UK. My children have grown up with the How To Train Your Dragon books and films (see our review of the Playmobil How To Train Your Dragon range here) so we couldn’t wait to see a preview of the film and find out what would happen to our favourite characters, Hiccup and Toothless. An immersive screening experience and the Isle of Berk I don’t think we’ve ever been to an immersive screening before…

This afternoon we were invited to go and see a preview of the highly anticipated sequel to Wreck-It Ralph that sees Ralph (John C. Reilly) and his racing driver best friend Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) leave the arcade world behind to explore the uncharted and thrilling world of the internet on a quest to save Vanellope’s racing game! We just loved Wreck-It Ralph. Can you believe it came out on 2012? In the first film arcade-game character Wreck-It Ralph is tired of always being the “bad guy” and losing to his “good guy” opponent, Fix-It Felix. Finally, after decades of seeing…

It’s very British to talk about the weather but I just can’t help it! What happened to the weather this week? It’s been so cold and I’ve been de-icing my car every morning before I drive off to work. Anyway, the cold weather has been keeping us indoors after school so I was pleased to be able to bring out a new film for us all to watch. Join the adorably ambitious “littlest reindeer”, Elliot, this Christmas as he sets his sights on becoming the newest – and tiniest – member of Santa’s reindeer team! The Littlest Reindeer With an…

My 6 year old just loves dogs. She really wants a dog of her own but it’s just not practical at the moment. Instead she has to make do with cuddly toy dogs, books about dogs and films about dogs. We missed Show Dogs when it was released earlier this year so were happy to be sent a copy to watch at home. Yesterday we enjoyed a quiet afternoon at home which was perfect for snuggling up under a blanket and watching Show Dogs. Show Dogs film review Have you heard of Show Dogs? It’s the pawfect family film, following…
