Monday Happy List

Sunday Happy Things {Week 441}

Spring blossom

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while although now I’m moved it to Sunday. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.

Sunday Happy Things {Week 441}

Last week I celebrated my birthday and I received a set of beautiful Orla Kiely wine glasses and a cute new Orla Kiely handbag, as well as lots of embroidery kits. My husband bought us tickets to go and watch Ruddigore at Wilton’s Music Hall (which we last went to back in 2017) over the weekend.

We managed to watch both Amsterdam and Cocaine Bear, two incredibly different films, but both very entertaining.

The weather has been pretty wet and windy recently but we still have to take our pup out for a few walks every day. Yesterday we took him to Hillingdon Court Park as we hadn’t visited in ages. We took the long lead so he could have a proper run around. Let’s just say it was very wet and muddy. The pup had a great time running through the puddles, but his legs are so short that he was soon up to his tummy! Needless to say he needed a wash in the garden when we got home.

I finished reading Good Evening, Mrs Craven by Mollie Panter-Downes, a book of short stories first published in the New Yorker during the Second World War.
