Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.
Sunday Happy Things {Week 433}
Finally January is flying by and we are so ready to embrace February next week (and get paid for the first time in weeks too!). We celebrated the end of the month by having a delicious, and child-free, lunch at the White Bear. The food was amazing and it made for a great treat. I also got my hair cu, which I never really enjoy, but it really needed it.
Last week I started reading Homecoming by Kate Morton as I finished my previous book. I always enjoy books by the author and this is a real page-turner.
On Saturday night we headed over to Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth Line for the Canary Wharf Winter Lights Festival. It’s something we’ve been meaning to visit for the last few years but it’s only on for a few days each year. There were over 20 light installations to see and we did so many steps visiting them all!
We finished watching The Rig on Amazon Prime. It wasn’t my favourite series although it started out well. I’m excited I finally get to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as it’s available on Disney+ from Wednesday.
I spent a lot of time last week crafting which was lovely. I finished the projects in my 2022 Winter Craftpod box and dug out some seasonal projects for February.
Have a great week!

February 3, 2023 at 10:59 amI am happy that January is over as well. It wasn’t very kind with me, with a lot of health issues which made me take time off work. And when you are a freelancer, that affects everything. Hopefully February will be kinder.
