Last week I showed you the styrofoam ball spider we made with our Bostik Craft Club supplies. We were sent so many lovely items we decided to make more – a styrofoam pumpkin!
My 4 year old cut the orange tissue paper into small piece and together we used the glue pen to stick the tissue paper on the styrofoam ball. We left it to dry whilst we worked on our pumpkin patch.
I found a small styrofoam wreath in my craft stash and my 4 year old wrapped the coloured wool round it (which was great for his fine motor skills). When the pumpkin was dry we glued on some goggly eyes and pushed in a stripy pipe cleaner for the stem.
We created a little pumpkin patch in a cardboard box, resting our pumpkin on the wool wreath so he didn’t move around. Then we added colourful leaves to keep him cosy. What do you think?

October 16, 2014 at 11:41 amI think your pumpkin is great. You could do a whole series of those and attach them to a larger wreath for the front door!
