Spooky Lolly Pop treats for Halloween

Spooky Lolly Pop treats for Halloween {trick or treat}

Posted on October 7, 2016August 27, 2023 by jenny

I’m not quite sure when to start putting up our Halloween decorations. Our lightbox is helping us count down the days and we have a growing number of homemade Halloween decorations to hang.

This year we’ve made some fun spooky lolly pop treats for our Halloween visitors. Our lolly pop pumpkins, ghosts and spiders are sure to delight any age and are super simple to make.

How to make spooky lolly pop treats

You will need:
wrapped lolly pops
tissue paper in white, black, orange and red
scissors
googly eyes or permanent pen
short pieces of wool

1 Cut out a large circle from the tissue paper, use a bowl or plate if necessary You may find it helpful to cut through a couple of layers at a time.

2 Place the lolly pop in the centre of the tissue paper circle

3 Gently wrap the tissue paper around the head of the lolly pop

4 Hold in place with a piece of wool or ribbon

5 Stick on googly eyes or draw on with a pen

Now you have made one you can make more in any colour. We used white tissue paper for our lolly pop ghosts, black tissue paper for a bat,ย red for our Dracula lolly pops and orange tissue paper for pumpkins. Just add on features with the pen accordingly!

The children had load of fun making these and they should be a fun surprise to give out on Halloween.

Thanks to Viking Direct for sending us the supplies to make our Spooky Lolly Pop treats for Halloween!
