Snazaroo Halloween event at KidZania London

Snazaroo Halloween event at KidZania London

Posted on October 29, 2017 by jenny

Today we were invited along to KidZania at Westfield London to experience their Snazaroo Halloween event. My kids adore KidZania so we were delighted to go along. KidZania is an indoor city run by kids, giving kids the opportunity to try out over 60 activities for themselves.

We went along this morning and managed to keep it a surprise until we were outside. The kids were so excited when they realised where they were going! We handed over our boarding passes for 4 hours of fun! Over half term kids have the chance to transform into their favourite Halloween character and take a dance class at the KidZania Theatre where they could learn how to do their spooky Halloween dance.

Unfortunately KidZania wasn’t decorated like it was last year. Nor were the staff dressed up. I thought this was a missed opportunity when Halloween is becoming such a huge event. Both my children had dressed up and plenty of other children had too.

We’ve been to KidZania a few times and both children have their favourite activities. They managed to squeeze in some of their favourites, as well as a few new activities too. They made chocolate bars, sorted out the air-conditioning, couriered packages around KidZania. This time they visited The Creakers pop up and created their own glow in the dark painting inspired by the new book from Tom Fletcher, The Creakers.

My 5 year old loved having her face painted, you could choose either a Halloween design or a ‘normal’ one, she opted for her favourite animal, a dinosaur. They both enjoyed writing for The Metro which involved going off to find a story and writing about it. They both got to take a copy of ‘their’ paper home with them.

They both had a great time at KidZania. Halloween is always such a fun event and KidZania is a great place to spend it. I can’t wait to see what they do for Christmas! KidZania London can be found at Westfield London Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, Shepherd’s Bush, London W12 7GA.

Aw! I love your daughter’s face paint (dinosaurs rule!) and it sounds like they had so much fun! 🙂 What a shame that they didn’t go all out with the Halloween decorations though – like you say, it’s definitely a missed opportunity! xx

Having their own designed newspaper is a cool activity, it’s a shame it wasn’t as Halloween themed as it could have been though x

Shame to hear that the staff did not dress up, whatever happened to getting in the spirit of things? Still at least you had a good time regardless!
