Is it too early to start the Halloween crafting? Halloween might be my favourite time of year and I am ready for it. We have lots of Halloween content for kids to make but it also seems popular here and on Pinterest. Today I wanted to share our popsicle stick Frankenstein’s monster Halloween craft.

Popsicle sticks
Utility knife
Acrylic markers
Googly eyes
Craft glue

Select 6 clean popsicle sticks for the Frankenstein puppet craft.

Keep 4 of the popsicle sticks intact for the base. Break 1 popsicle stick into 2 parts, one long piece for the head bolt base and one short piece for the body base. Break another stick into 4 parts, 2 even and relatively longer pieces for the arms (from the sides) and 2 small, even pieces for the bolt heads.

Arrange the head bolt sticks, body base sticks and the arm sticks.

Arrange the 4 intact sticks together and position the arm sticks on both sides. Make sure that the body base stick is long enough to hold all 6 sticks.

Glue the body and arm sticks to the base stick to form the Frankenstein base shape.

Glue the head bolt base to the backside of the head part.

Glue the bolt heads at both ends of the bold base.

You can keep the bottom side of the Frankenstein shape as it is or you can use another popsicle stick to break 2 even pieces for the shoes. Glue the shoe sticks at the bottom, keeping the round ends facing outward. Use a pencil to trace the pattern of the popsicle stick Frankenstein.
