Pass the Bomb: The Big One! {review}

AD/Pass the Bomb: The Big One! {review}

Posted on August 27, 2020January 8, 2023 by jenny

Earlier in the Summer holidays we were gifted a bundle of new games from Gibsons. We’ve already told you about Rockpool and Quirk! Today we wanted to share our last review with you for Pass the Bomb: The Big One!.

Pass the Bomb: The Big One!

Harness your brain power and test your skills, as you take on the weird and wonderful challenges of Pass the Bomb – The Big One! The latest game in the Pass the Bomb range is finally here and family board game nights will never be the same again.

Pass the Bomb: The Big One!

Roll the die, trigger the time-bomb and attempt to complete the task before passing it to the next player. Keep playing while the time-bomb ticks away but watch out – the time-bomb is unstable and could “detonate” at any moment!

Pass the Bomb: The Big One!

Pass the Bomb – The Big One contains 5 different challenges: Rhyme Artist tests players’ rhyming abilities, Word Acrobat forces players to think of words containing all three of the letters on the cards, Category Captain challenges you to think of things that are “Smaller than a mouse” or “larger than an elephant”, Puzzle Pro tests your puzzling skills and Bounce Boss pushes your dexterity to the limit – can you bounce that little wooden ball into that tiny cup? All the while the ticking time-bomb piles on the pressure!

Pass the Bomb: The Big One!

My kids love playing this game. It’s simple to play but really fun for the whole family and we are so happy to add it our games cupboard.

Essential information:

What’s inside the box? 1 electronic timer, 165 cards (3 categories with 55 cards each), 4 printed puzzle tiles, 1 game board, 8 playing pieces, 1 cup, 1 wooden ball, 1 special die. Requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included.

Pass the Bomb! is priced £22.00 available from Gibsons website or Amazon (affiliate link)**

Perfect for ages 8 and over

Can be played by 2-8 players

A game takes around 30 minutes

**We have included Amazon links to Pass the Bomb! If you click on these and buy we may earn a small commission.

    This sounds fun, as a youngster I really liked Buckeroo as you never quite knew when it would buck and this has the same kind of apprehension with it. I’d be on the edge of my seat! Mich x

    This looks amazing, my twin nephews would absolutely love it! I’ve added it to my basket as something we can play when they next visit x
