Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend despite the Autumnal weather. Each week I start off by writing my Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things blog post. It’s a great chance to reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures – it’s a post I always enjoy writing.

Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

I was so happy to receive an email saying I had been voted as one of the Top 10 Craft Blogs by Vuelio again. I couldn’t live without making something every day and it is always lovely to be recognised for sharing our crafty makes.

The working week has been pretty quiet thankfully. Work is going well and my children are enjoying their school days. Not that we aren’t excited to see half term at the end of the week! The weather and shorter days are definitely having an effect on us all and I can’t wait for a week of breaking the routine and spending time together.

We have had a biblical amount of deliveries this week which means we will be having so much fun reviewing new toys over the coming days! We are so lucky to be sent some wonderful items and I can’t wait to share them with you. This week I have a video and blog review of Hornby’s Scalectrix to finish, as well as a lovely competition which is just perfect with Christmas coming up!

On Saturday we were invited to KidZania London which is such a fun immersive experience for kids. We’ve been a few times and always find something new to try out. KidZania were running a KidPreneur one-day festival which was really inspiring for my kids. You can read my write up in this post.

Yesterday I got to spend a child-free day with my friend at the Knitting & Stitching Show at Ally Pally. It was so lovely to spend the day chatting to a friend and I got to buy loads of craft supplies too! I can’t wait to share some of my makes with you all soon.
